Akshaya Raman is a sophomore at Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, PA. She has been learning Carnatic music from Smt. Kiranavali Vidyasankar for the past 5 years and gave her Arangetram performance this past September.
Akshaya is also learning the Carnatic flute. She has won prizes at Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and CMANA.
Kamalakiran Vinjamuri is a prodigious young violinist living in the DC area. He learnt under his father Sri.Subhash Vinjamuri, his grandfather Sri. Parthasarathy Iyengar, has also had some training from Smt. Malladi Vijayalakshmi. When visiting India, he is under the tutelage of Kalaimamani A. Kanyakumari. He currently goes to George Mason university. Kamalakiran has accompanied many senior artists including Sri M. Balamuralikrishna, Sri TN Seshagopalan, and Smt. Suguna Varadachari, and has also been giving many solo performances both in the US, and in India. Srikar Chittari was initiated into mridangam by Sri Srinath Balasubramaniam at the age of 5. Since then, he is a disciple of Sri Vijay Ganesh and Sri Neyveli Narayanan. Srikar is a 10 th grader at Marshall HS, Virginia, and he also plays trombone in his school’s top band and in American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras.

Shreya Srinivasan is currently a sophomore in Montgomery High School. She has been learning Carnatic music under the tutelage of Smt. Kalyani Ramani for the past 8 years and has been winning several awards in vocal competitions conducted by CMANA, NJ and Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana. some of her noteworthy titles are M.S. Subbulakshmi award in 2015 and Junior Musician of CMANA, NJ in 2016 and Gaayika Bharathi 2016 from Sringeri Sharadha temple, Stroudsburg. She had also learnt Bharatanatyam for nearly 8 years and played clarinet in her School Band. Shreyaa is very grateful to her guru smt. Kalyani Ramani and her mother for her dedicated teaching and guidance. Siddarth is a young accomplished violinist in the tri-state area who is also well known to the Sruti community. He has learnt violin under Smt. Ranjani Swamy and Arun Ramamurthy, and later from Sri Vittal Ramamurthy and Sri Srinivasamurthy of Chennai.
