Maharajapuram Ramachandran is the
grandson of the legendary Sri Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer and the son
of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Maharajapuram Santhanam. He comes 7th
in the direct sishya parampara of Saint Thyagaraja. Ramachandran is
grade A artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan and he is a member of
the faculty of Fine Arts, Annamalai University. He is a frequent
performer in the concert halls of Chennai such as the Music Academy,
Krishna Gana Sabha and Tamil Isai Sangam. His adherence to excellence
and tradition has earned him many awards and titles.
Mullaivasal Chandramouli started
learning violin at the age of 8 under Smt Savitri Satyamuurthy and later
received advanced training from Sri R.K. Venkatarama Sastry. He is
currently under the tutelage of Sri V.V. Subhramanyam. Mr. Chandramouli is
an A grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan and is a recipient of
many awards. He has accompanied leading carnatic vocalists in national and
international concert platforms.
Kumbakonam Ganesh learnt
Mridhangam from his father, the renowned mridhangam vidhwan and teacher,
Kumbakonam Rajappa Iyer. Ganesh is not only proficient in playing the
mridhangam but also other South Indian percussion instruments such as
ghatam and kanjira. He is equally adept in the theory of the percussion
instruments and his lecture demonstrations give a unique opportunity to
appreciate the nuances of rhythm in Indian Classical Music. Ganesh has
accompanied leading vocalists and instrumentalists artists in both
national and international concerts.

- From Delaware, take 202 North. Follow instruction in

- From I-476 either take 76 West and then 202 South or
take I-276 West and then exit 24 and 202 South.
- On 202 traveling south, take Devon (Valley Forge
exit) -- about 2 miles from I-76. At the ramp make right to Valley
Forge Road. After two traffic lights make a left into Valley Forge
Middle School.
- On 202 traveling North, take Valley Forge exit. At
the end of the ramp make left (and go under 202). At the traffic
light, make a left. At the second traffic light, make a right to
Valley Forge Road. After two traffic lights make a left into Valley
Forge Middle School.
